Stanley was the honoree of the Jewish National Fund Negev dinner in 2002, making it possible to build the Montreal Oasis (the Barbara & Stanley Family Park), one of the largest full-service parks in the Negev. His numerous accolades include the Federation CJA Distinguished Leadership Award, the Jewish General Hospital Distinguished Service Award, and the Samuel Bronfman Medal, the highest honor granted by the Montreal Jewish Community.
