We are pleased to congratulate our KH campaigns in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Madrid, Barcelona, Uruguay, and Paraguay on their impactful opening events for 2024, featuring distinguished guests from Israel such as Iris Haim (mother of Yotam Haim z”l, who was abducted to Gaza and later mistakenly killed by IDF gunfire), Michal Uziyahu, Head of the Eshkol Regional Council, IDF Spokesman Roni Kaplan, and other public figures. The events additionally featured talks on the path forward for the Jewish people by Prof. David Passig, moving speeches by local campaign presidents as well as local Jewish community representatives. All came with the same spirit and mission—to reinforce and empower us all to advance the goals of Keren Hayesod-UIA for 2024 of rebuilding the resilience of our brothers and sisters in Israel.

We also had a landmark visit by Steven Lowy AM, Chairman of the KH World Board of Trustees, to several of our campaigns and communities throughout South America, including Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. Many distinguished members of the Keren Hayesod-UIA community attended these events throughout the continent. This is yet another powerful testimony to the fact that we are one organization working toward a common goal.
