Dr. David Kornfeld

Dr. David Kornfeld is the president of the education department of Maccabi World, Ramat Gan. Professionally, he is the director of the psycho-pedagogical department at the “New High School: Yitzhak Rabin” high school in Tel Aviv.
Ramat Hen; Psychologist at the Shneorshon Institute for Mental Health and as the regional psychologist responsible for differential education in the Tel Aviv Municipality and as a member of the Interdisciplinary Department of Adult Education at Tel Aviv University.
His community work includes membership on the board of the Jewish Sports Museum, membership in the Department of Informal Education in the Tel Aviv Municipality, consultant at the Peres Center for Peace, Honorary President of the Friends of Latin America Association at Rambam Hospital, member of the Yad Vashem General Assembly, member of the Presidency of the World Zionist Organization, member of the Organizing Committee of the World Maccabi Games and a representative of Maccabi World at the National Institute of Community Centers.
Dr. Kornfeld is also a member of the Association of Evaluation and Diagnosis, a member of the Association of Clinical Educational Psychologists in Israel, a member of the Israeli Family Therapists Association and the Israeli Psychological Association.
He holds a Ph.D. From Tel Aviv University. Dr. Kornfeld received the honorary award for outstanding education awarded by the Teachers’ Union and the Dima and Shalom Levin Foundation. Dr. Kornfeld lives in Tel Aviv.
