Married to Shira, father of seven children – resident of Beit Shemesh. Gael Grunewald is born in France where he attended high school in Montreux Switzerland. at the age of 18, Gael left France and made Aliyah to Israel. Upon his immigration to Israel, Gael enlisted in a significant military service in a combat unit.
He is a Graduate of Engineering from the Lev Institute of Technology in Jerusalem. He served as a representative of the Jewish Agency in Europe and as an educational consultant for the Conference of European Rabbis.
He served as CEO of World Bnei Akiva and Chairman of the World Youth Movement Council.
He also served as Deputy Chairman of the JNF. Currently he is the Chairman of the Settlement Division of the World Zionist Organization.
