Rehabilitative Care for Children with Severe Disabilities
The São Paulo Women’s Division organized a volunteer solidarity mission to Israel during this difficult period, in order to show Israelis that the Jews of the Diaspora stand with them. The journey, organized by Noca Falbel, the new president of the São Paulo Women’s Division, brought together a group of 35 caring and compassionate women for a unique, fulfilling experience.
The diverse and intensive mission began with a meeting with Head of the Sdot Negev Regional Council, Tamir Idan, followed by harvesting Jerusalem artichoke and tomatoes together with the organization Leket Israel (Hebrew: ‘Harvest Israel’), preparing burgers for soldiers serving in the South, an emotional visit to Kibbutz Kisufim, to the site of the Nova Festival in Re’im, and a meeting with families of the captured soldiers, among many other prominent activities that made this journey very meaningful for all involved.
