A meaningful walk from the north and south to Jerusalem

The MASA 70 was a 7 week hike, which took thousands of Israelis on a meaningful walk from the north and south to Jerusalem.

On their walk, which was launched by President Rivlin,  the youth visited heritage sites and met with people who shaped the history of Israel.

The journey ended in Jerusalem with an event at the Kotel and a prayer for the State of Israel – on the eve of the 70th Day of Independence.

This walk was made possible due to the generous support of one of Keren Hayesod's most prominent leaders and supporters – Mr. Mikhael Mirilashvili.

In this video he is thanked by Elyassaf Peretz, the organizer of the walk – son of Miriam Peretz, recipient of the Israel Prize and mother of Uriel and Eliraz z"l , who were both officers in the IDF and were killed in a battle.
